Home · Four doors
Home
When there is no signal, answers, supplies, and a plan stay on this phone.
Home opens on four doors. Short physical steps first, then the full guide. Quiet facts only when they exist: days of water after you add water, last known after you mark one, your plan after you save one. No dashboard of missing things.
Trail
I'm lost
Stop. Do not start a new walk.
Then the lost sequence in Field. Stop. Mark. Stay. Signal. Each step keeps the time you marked it.
Home
Power is out
Light, food, and do not heat with the oven.
Then the At home shelf: the first hour, the first night, the first week. Generator and carbon monoxide. Food when the fridge is off.
Trail or home
Someone is hurt
You first. Then bleeding. Then the guide.
Then the first-aid shelf: injury, bleeding, and wilderness medicine. Thirteen guides.
Trail or home
I need water
Boil if you can. Clear is not clean.
Then Water: find, filter, and make it safe. At home, water when the tap fails.
01 · Library
101 sourced guides. Search works with no signal.
This is what you have the day you install. Every guide carries a Sources line: CDC, FEMA, Red Cross, WHO, USDA, NFPA, USGS, NWS, land agencies. Open a chapter, or search. Results open at the matching section, and the reader resumes where you stopped.

02 · Field
Before you go. And if you are lost.
Leave a card: where you are going, when to worry, and a Text button that prefills Messages. Mark last known. Compass, light and signal, radio reference. If you are lost, the sequence is on the screen. Stop. Mark. Stay. Signal. Call, only if a number still works.

Plan the way out while you have signal. Read it when you don't.
With signal, once, the app fetches directions from Apple Maps and saves them as a text card: steps, distances, coordinates, time, an optional Plan B. With no signal the card still reads, and from a marked last known it shows the bearing and distance to the next step. No map is drawn.

03 · Ask · Optional
Type what is happening. The answer cites a guide on this phone.
Ask runs a model on the phone and writes only from the library. One plain lead sentence, then What to do, numbered, with the source marked on every step. Open the guide lands on the cited section. Plan this situation writes first minutes, first hour, first day for your house and keeps it on Home as Your plan. With no model installed, Ask says so and the library still answers.

From your library
To make water safe to drink, boil it for at least one minute or use solar disinfection by filling clear bottles in direct sunlight for six hours [S2].
What to do
1Boil the water until it reaches a rolling boil and let it cool before consuming [S2].
2Filter cloudy water through a clean cloth or paper towel, then treat with unscented bleach at 5-6% concentration (8 drops per gallon) [S2].

03 · Ask · How it works
Ask. An answer written on this phone, from these guides.
Ask is a model that runs on the phone. It does not answer from memory. It reads the library you already have, writes from what it finds, and marks the source on every step. If the guides do not cover it, it says so instead of guessing. Questions to Ask never leave this device.
01
Your question stays here
Type it, or tap a door. Nothing is sent. There is no account to sign in to and no server to reach. The model is a file on the phone.
02
It reads the library
Retrieval pulls the passages that match from the 101 guides. Instructions, not caveats. The same guides you can open and read yourself.
03
It writes, and marks the source
One plain lead sentence, then What to do, numbered. The [S2] on a step opens that guide at that section. No match in the library, no answer.

When it does not knowIt guesses, confidently. It says the library does not cover it.
A fair test
Switch on Airplane Mode. Ask again. Same answer, same sources. Nothing about Ask needs signal once the model is on the phone.
Turning it on
One tap over Wi-Fi. Compact or Recommended pack. One-time unlock, planned at $19.99. Not a subscription. Not on sale yet. Without a model, Ask says so and the library still answers.
Also on this phone
Quiet until you need it.
Supplies
Days of water, food, and meds for your household, and which runs out first. Under Settings until you have a shelf. Empty is an invitation, not a count of zero.
Plan this situation
Pick the event, the people, the place, the risks. Ask writes first minutes, first hour, first day. Save it, and Home shows it as Your plan.
Leave a card
Return-time chips. Share. Text a contact with Messages prefilled. If you are late, Home says Card overdue, with I'm back.
Light and signal
Flashlight. Three flashes or SOS in Morse. A phone without a torch flashes the whole screen white, with a Stop button.
Radio reference
Channels for North America, Europe / UK, Australia / NZ. Marine 16 and aviation 121.5 everywhere. A MAYDAY script that fills in your position. The phone is not a transmitter.
Last known
Paste a coordinate pair and it splits. Fixes older than six hours say how old they are. One GPS fix when you ask for it. Never tracking.
Signal awareness
Home says whether the phone has a network path right now. Two jobs need signal once: install the model, save a route. Nothing else does.
Your data, your call
Backup export. Delete everything on this device, in Settings. The built-in library stays. Sunlight and field palettes for the screen you are holding.
Two things it is. Two it is not.
What it is. What it is not.
What ships
Library, Field, and Supplies work the day you install. Ask works once a model is on the phone.
Local only
No account. No analytics. No cloud answers. Questions, supplies, contacts, and routes stay on this phone.
Reference, not care
Guides and answers are sourced reference for people without help on the way. They are not a clinician, and they do not replace one when you can reach one.
Not a map
No tiles. No live navigation. Routes are directions you saved while you had signal, kept as text. Roads can change. This is a plan, not live directions.

Questions
Plain answers.
Does it need internet?
No. Once the app and the optional model are on the phone, everything runs on the device. Airplane mode is a fair test.
What does it cost?
The app will be free. Library, Field, and Supplies work without paying. Ask, with the on-device model, is planned as a one-time unlock at $19.99. Not a subscription. It is not on sale yet.
What if I do not install a model?
Ask is disabled and says so. Library, Field, and Supplies work anyway. There is no cloud fallback, so nothing is presented as offline that is not.
Is it a map?
No. Routes are directions you saved while you had signal, kept as text. Roads can change. This is a plan, not live directions.
Is this medical care?
No. Guides and answers are sourced reference for people without help on the way. They are not a clinician, and they do not replace one when you can reach one.
What touches the network?
Three things you start: downloading a model, planning a route with Apple Maps, and sharing a card or plan to another app. No analytics, no crash reporting, no account. This website uses analytics. Privacy.
